I currently work as an editor at Simon & Schuster, where I write and edit 8x8s, beginning readers, chapter books, junior novels, and novelty formats for licensed properties including Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, CoComelon, Peanuts, PJ Masks, and Angelina Ballerina. In addition to licensed properties, I also acquire and edit original series in our Ready-to-Read beginning readers book program. My past career experience includes working as a children's book editor at publishers including Disney Publishing Worldwide and Penguin Group for Young Readers. I also worked as a copywriter for Toys “R” Us, where I developed email and website campaigns for services including seasonal and holidays. Previous and other brand experience includes Pixar, Disney Princess, Disney Channel, LEGO, DreamWorks, Sony, Mad Libs, Looney Tunes, Care Bears, Tonka, and Fisher-Price.
